Extra charges on my statement.

Extra charges on your statement
If you notice extra charges on your credit card or payment processor statement, read these reasons why that may be.
An Authorized Hold
Some credit card companies or payment processors issue what is called an authorized hold which can last 1-5 business days. If you see this extra charge soon after placing your order, please wait 1-5 business days to see if the hold disappears. If you still see this charge after 5 days, it may be something else.
International Bank Charges / Currency Conversion
If you used a credit card or payment method that is in a currency other than USD or CAD, your credit card or bank may have charged you a fee for shopping internationally. In some cases your bank/credit card processor charges an additional small fee for e-commerce or cross border transactions. In most cases you can negotiate or ask your bank to waive these fees.
